1. What we collect

To provide coaching, Iron Katia collects:

  • Name and contact details (phone/WhatsApp number, and email if you provide one)
  • Training and fitness information (goals, experience level, schedule, training history)
  • Injury and health-limitation information you choose to share, so programs are built safely
  • Progress photos and measurements, only if you choose to send them
  • Payment information — handled entirely by Whop; see Section 5

2. How it's used

This information is used to build and adjust your training and nutrition program, run check-ins, respond to your messages, and process payment for the plan you chose. It is not sold, and it is not used for purposes beyond delivering your coaching.

3. Third-party processors

Messages are exchanged over WhatsApp (Meta). Payments, where paid through secure checkout, are processed by Whop. Website analytics are processed by Metricool, which records the page visited, your screen size, the site you arrived from and your IP address, and by Google Analytics where a measurement ID has been configured. Analytics are collected on the public pages only — never inside the member or coach areas. Each of these processors has its own privacy policy governing the data it handles on our behalf.

4. Progress photos

Progress photos you send are used only for your own coaching and progress tracking. They are never published, shared publicly, or used in marketing without your separate, explicit consent.

Phone app: health data and camera

If you connect Apple Health or Health Connect in the Iron Katia app, the app reads three things only: your daily steps, your sleep, and your resting heart rate. They are shown to you on Today, and your steps count towards your 10,000-step First. Iron Katia never writes to your health app, never sells or shares this data, never uses it for advertising, and never turns it into a score. You can switch access off at any time in your phone's settings; deleting your account deletes what was stored.

Body Age and the squat alarm use your camera to count reps. The picture is read on your phone, frame by frame, and thrown away. It is never recorded, stored or sent.

5. Payment information

Iron Katia does not claim PCI compliance and does not store your card details. Card payments made through secure checkout are handled entirely by Whop, which is responsible for that data under its own security and compliance standards. Bank-transfer payments are confirmed manually and are not stored as card data because no card data is ever involved.

6. Data retention

Client information is kept for as long as needed to provide coaching, and afterward for [Data retention period after coaching ends — to be confirmed] for record-keeping, then deleted or anonymized on request.

7. Stored on your device

So the app keeps working in a gym with no signal, your phone keeps a copy of your current training program and of any sets you have logged but not yet sent. That copy stays on your device and is not shared with anyone. Logged sets are removed from the phone once they reach your account; the rest is removed when you sign out, and automatically after 7 days. Clearing your browser data removes all of it immediately.

8. Reminders and notifications

If you turn on reminders, your browser creates a subscription that lets us send notifications to that one device. It is held by your browser’s own notification service — Google, Apple or Mozilla, depending on the device — and we store the address it gives us, together with the times you chose and your time zone, so reminders arrive at the right hour where you are.

Notifications never contain your weight, your measurements, your food or anything else about your body or your health. They say only that there is something to look at, and what it is is shown after you open the app. This is deliberate: a notification can be read on a locked screen by whoever is nearby.

You can turn reminders off for a device at any time in Settings, or in your phone or browser’s own notification settings. Signing out removes that device’s subscription automatically. We keep a record of which reminders were sent and when, so we can answer questions about a message you were expecting; that record holds no health information and is deleted after 90 days.

9. Your rights

You can ask, at any time, what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Send that request to Katia on WhatsApp and it will be actioned as soon as reasonably possible.

10. Contact

Privacy questions or requests can be sent to Katia on WhatsApp (+1 971 265 8410).
